The boys had a great Halloween as well! Logan carved his pumpkin as Harry Potter and Gavin wanted his to look scary:) I was lucky to get to go to Logan's Halloween party again this year! It was amazing to me how much more calm second graders are then first graders.....The boys both picked their own costumes this year...Logan went as Harry Potter and Gavin went as an Angry Bird....Trick or Treating was rough this year since the weather was cold and rainy. Gavin and I went to a few houses then he wanted to go back to Aunt Amy's to pass out candy. He did a great job. One at a time and a your welcome for every thank you:) Logan and Scott, Brian and the rest of the kids stayed out for 2 1/2 hours! Needless to say there will be a lot of candy in the Stockwell house for a while:)
In other news...Student Council is keeping me very busy! We are doing a lot of fundraisers for Veteran's Day! Right now we are collecting photos of student's family members or friends that have served or are currently serving in the military. The pictures are $1.00 each and all proceeds will are going to the Wounded Warrior program. We are also hosting a "wear your camouflage military attire/patriotic colors for $1.00 on Veteran's day next week. Those proceeds are also going to the Wounded Warrior program. The student council members are really excited to raise money for a good cause. They are working really hard and I am so excited for the rest of the year!
Logan has started up Bible Club again. He is already memorizing verses and he is a stud as usual:)
Emily and Nate were blessed with the birth of their healthy baby girl Cecilia Erin. She is adorable! Congrats to Emily, Nate, and Carson:)
Our family has also experienced a loss in the last few days. A few months back Scott's great aunt Mary Beth was expectantly diagnosed with liver cancer. She passed away last week. She was a kind, fun, loving woman. She left a positive influence on those she met. She will be missed. Please say a prayer for her husband, children, grandchildren and siblings. Scott's grandma was very close to her sister.
It seems like the time is flying by! We are very much looking forward to the holidays! More to come:)
