Forever again...

So it has been a few months since my last post...again...I need to be more productive when it comes to this blog!  Things have been crazy lately.  In my last post Scott was just about to start baseball....and tonight he is at his last game!  They had a really good season winning a good majority of their games. There record is 17-8 for the year.  Great job Vikings!
Over spring break Scott and I took a trip to Chicago.  A sweet little get away:)  We stayed at The Drake Hotel...which I thought was pretty cool.  We had lunch at Dick's Last Resort, dinner at the top of the Hancock building, visited Millennium  Park and Navy Pier.  We also went to Shedd's Aquarium which was really cool.  They have so many different exhibits.  They have some crazy things in there.  On the way home we stopped at the outlet malls in Michigan City.  It was a nice little trip for us.  It's always nice to be able to get away with your hubby<3

The school year is drawing to an end...making both Scott and I very busy!  Scott has really enjoyed his new position as an administrator and he is looking forward to continuing the position next year.  This summer he will spend several weeks working at the apartments as he does every summer.  He always says he is ready for a little manual labor at this point in the year haha.  I am going to miss this group of students graduating this year.  We had a lot of fun over the last two years with them!
Logan is gearing up to finish 1st grade...with flying colors I might add:)  He has had a great year in school.  He has finished up soccer and is almost done with his first year of coaches pitch baseball, which he really enjoys.  He is excited to move on to players pitch because he wants to be a pitcher!  He is always on the move...one of his favorite things to do is ride his bike and play catch and practice batting with Scott.

Gavin is growing up so fast!  He turned 3 this May!  Potty training was a huge success....only really rough the first day.  He did great!  He is speaking more and more clearly everyday.  With the help of his Leap Pad he is learning his alphabet.  He has a very strong personality that can be so funny sometimes.  One day he was asking Gigi for a cookie because he knew I would say no...so I said "No cookie Gavin we are going to eat dinner"  and he looks at me and says "Not talking you mom, talking to Gigi".   HAHAHA it was so funny!

This May we celebrated my mom's 50th birthday!  It was an awesome weekend.  My dad treated us to a family dinner at Ruth's Chris and then we threw a surprise open house for mom!  It was a lot of fun!

I am very much looking forward to the summer as well.  I love being able to spend the days at home with my boys.  We have a lot of fun things planned for the summer including a trip out to Maryland to visit Kevin and Amy and the kids.  We also plan on going into Washington D.C. while we are there.
Speaking of trips...my mom, sister and I just got back from a fun weekend in Chicago.  We ate at cheesecake factory, did lots of shopping, went on a riverboat ride and to a comedy club.  We took the train which was nice and relaxing.  The weather was very nice most of the time but it got really hot on our last day there, it was hard to be outside for long!  It was a lot of fun!

In other news, Dan is currently in Africa on a hunting trip and has already shot a blesbuck.  I can't wait to hear his stories when he gets home!  Kyle and Dean have both recently got new jobs. Kyle got promoted at NYU and Dean is working as a designer for Aeropostle.  We also recently celebrated Carter's first birthday!  Mike and Amy had a healthy little boy, Liam Michael.  Emily and Brenda are both expecting little girls this fall!  Collin is getting married.  His fiance's name is Anna.  We have Tate, Ava and Jack's birthdays coming up in June.  So a lot is happening!  A lot of exciting times coming up!  So that is all for now.....
